Astro-Tarot

Non standard tarot, but with conventional Major arcana. Russell Grant's Astrology Club Tarot (Majors only) was published in 1999 in connection with Russell's live telephone readings service.
The 64-card version was published in 1998 by Virgin Publishing which included additional astrological cards. A book about the cards was also published by David Westnedge Ltd in 1992, and Virgin Publishing in 1998.

Eroteme Fashion Tarot
by Oleg Mitrofanov, 2011.
This is conceived of as biannual publication of a tarot deck, which "aims to expand the borders of fashion by introducing style, beauty and decadence into specific and often forgotten branches of creative arts". This first issue uses the theme of opera. Each of the photographs of models posing in wonderful costumes, often with stage like makeup, are collaged with other graphic elements to present a tableaux related to a scene from a classic opera which in turn reflects the tarot imagery. It is quite a tour de force.
Each of the Majors and Courts are associated with a character from an Opera. Thus, The Fool is Papageno, High Priestess is Norma, Justice relates to Turandot.
The models are posed in tableaux presenting the character from an opera. The photography is by Markus Nylaander.
The plan for the regular publication of tarots did not succeed, and this was their only production.

Sacred Isle Tarot

This tarot has wonderfully detailed artwork, printed in nicely saturated and vibrant colours, which is offset by the plain black border and printed on a thin stock. The imagery is for the most part quite conventional, with a slight departure from the familiar imagery in the Death, The Moon and the Sun cards. The sheer quality of the artwork shines out in this Majors only deck.

Wildwood Tarot
by Will Worthington, Mark Ryan and John Matthews, Connections Book Publishing Ltd., 2011.
This tarot derives in part from the Greenwood Tarot of 1996, which Mark Ryan created with the artist Chesca Potter. The designs for this new deck are by Will Worthington, who re-envisions Chesca Potter's images rather than slavishly copying them. The card names are substantially the same as the earlier deck, which renamed the Majors. Thus the Fool is The Wanderer, Magician becomes The Shaman, Priestess The Seer, Empress, The Green Woman and so on. The suits are Arrows, Bows, Vessels and Stones. The idea is of a return to a romanticised shamanism based on a magical encounter with the natural world.

Tarot of Portmeirion (Majors)

Based on photographs, by Michael Warwick, of Portmeirion village in Gwynedd, North Wales, which was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village. Promotional deck issued on the launch of Landrover's Freelander 2 Model at the 2006 British International Motor Show. Card are named. The World, Power, Strength, The Sun, The Wild Card, The Clairvoyant, The Adventure, The Magician, The Style Guru, The Ace, The Hill, and the Test Drive. The cover of the box has a printed postage paid label, suggesting that these were intended to be sent out to people on a mailing list.
The backgrounds use images from Japanese paintings and block prints.
